Professional Bio

John Dewey said it best, “If we teach today as we taught yesterday, we rob our children of tomorrow." The use of technology is not about embracing a new medium; it is about acting upon the reality that information technologies have fundamentally changed the way we communicate, learn, and live.

I have witnessed the transformational power of technology as an instructional tool at both the elementary and middle school level over the last twelve years.  I have enjoyed a career in education that has taken me around the world, including Africa and Micronesia. The constant is the flattening power of technology regardless of location or socioeconomic status. 

I have completed graduate programs degrees in Educational Leadership and Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages.  Recognitions include Who's Who Among Students in America's Colleges and Universities and Who's Who Among American Teachers. I hold certifications as an Intel Master Teacher, Adobe Certified Associate, and Microsoft Certified Application Specialist.
